Mr. M L Deshpande, a science graduate by education, is the founder of Thermolab's flagship company, Thermolab Scientific Equipments Pvt. Ltd. He started his business in the year 1967 with the support of merely 3 people at a small space of 100 sq. ft. A man of vision and sharp business acumen, he has been a source of strength for his people down the line. Under his dynamic leadership, his legacy of determination and success is been taken onward by Mr. Sandip Mhatre and Mrs. Neelam Mhatre.
Sandip Mhatre is an engineer by education. He started his career as a Development Engineer in 1987. He got the best of management exposure in all disciplines of business during initial career.
Joined Thermolab in the year 1990, where he was given the responsibility to head
Marketing Division. He is a man of vision and known for his outstanding
leadership abilities. He developed Stability Chamber meant for testing the shelf
life of pharmaceutical drugs for Pharma industry.
He is regarded and recognized as a thought leader because of his business insight and forethought of the global trends. Such a quality led Mr. Mhatre to spread his expertise in supporting global pharmaceutical industry by introducing dedicated companies , Thermolab Sales & Services Pvt. Ltd. (a after sales support company for Thermolab range of products), Thermolab Testing Services Pvt. Ltd. (a Calibration, Validation and 3rd Party Testing Services company), Thermolab Analyticals (a stability storage and analytical testing service company) & Korten Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. (A Thermolab acquired company, manufacturing injectables and finished dosage forms)
Mr. Mhatre has recently been selected on a national basis for "Indian Leadership Award for Industrial Development" by All India Achievers Foundation, New Delhi, for his excellent contribution towards industrial development.
Mrs. Neelam Mhatre is an engineer by education and has considerable experience in implementing and managing the manufacturing facility of Thermolab. She took charge of the Production department in the year 1990 and has been responsible for bringing the technological evolution in the company which included implementing management systems like ERP, ISMS, ISO etc. She is trained professional in Six Sigma and ensures every product manufactured, meets the international standards and customer expectation.
Mrs. Mhatre is also a Director in Thermolab Group. She is known for her meticulous planning and love for perfection. Her passion to achieve excellence and growth has lead to various new business avenues nurturing her venture, Korten, on a global platform.
Mr. Pradeep Wandrekar is a bachelor in commerce and FICWA by education. He is responsible for efficient management of funds and acts as an advisor on the performance of the group as well as strategic decision making for the betterment of the business. He is also Hon Secretary and Treasurer at Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI). He has been associated with Thermolab Group since 1996.
